lights on or off?

when u do something inside a room, let's say if ur sleeping, do u want that the lights are on or off? or for example, if u want to watch movies, lights on or off?. there are many things we can do with ligts on or off, but what do u like?

when i am sleeping i want the lights off 'coz the lights are hurting my eyes..^_^

when i am watching tv then i just turn on the lamp and main lights are off ...but when i sleep i need complete darkness so having the light on is NO no..

We sleep with the light off, of course, but we also turn off the overhead light when we're watching TV and put on a table lamp. It's just easier on the eyes, I think, and saves electricity! I seldom turn lights on during the day unless I really need them.
