if you have a back problem, you can try to lie on room floor to sleep at night for months, it is healthy to you sometimes. if you have a try, do not cool your back, it must be warm of the mattress.

Doctors always suggest trying hard-wood bed if you have a back problem. Two years ago, I laid up for weeks with a slipped disc. It didn't give me any comfort compared to the normal mattress, but surely it is helpful for the slipped disc to recover soon.

sleeping on the hard-wood bed is healthy for most people who have a back problem, but the key is keep back warm and not too hard to harm backbone, so use one or two quilts to protect the back. but sleeping on room floor is another feeling that it is absolutely different from bed, because it is very relax, to open your arms and legs, you can roll and welter on it and do phisical exercise on it, etc. so if someone have back problem, please try sleep on room floor. thank you for your good posting.

I too have heard about this ..But I think the point is that it is healthy to sleep on a flat surface - be a floor or a cot without mattress..The surface should be flat enough. This is because our back is more comfortable with a flat surface than an irregular surfaced mattress...But be careful that you do not sleep in a chill floor. This may result in rheumatism..I have seen many old people suffering from this rheumatism since they had been sleeping on the floor.

if your bed have a flat surface, you wonld not to sleep on room floor, but if it is more soft, you could choose to sleep on room floor instead of the bed. pay attention to two pionts below: on the one hand I mean people must to use one or two quilts for keeping warm of his or her back if to sleep on room floor, on the other hand a flat surface should not too hard to harm your backbone, so use quilt for your back is necessary.
