the best!

As junky as they are, the best french fries (in my opinion) are McDonald's fries. As for non-fast food fries, a local rstuarant makes these really good curly fries with cheese dip (I guess it's just Cheez Whiz). I try to never order them but sometimes they end up on our table....

OOOhh the BEST kind of fries to me are homemade...and whats even better is homemade Poutine...OMG I love love love that!

i love the fries from our local bar/restaurant. they put a light coating of bay seasoning on them. then they top them with cheese, ranch and bacon bits. its extremely unhealthy, but oh so good! i love fries with cheese.

I'm with you, Molly. Curly fries are the bomb with me. 2nd is crinkle fries smothered in cheddar cheese. yummmmmmmmmmm

I like to make my own fries. I like to use fresh potatoes from the farm the I cut them up and put them in sugared water before deep frying them. Then I degrease and put on seasoned salt and of course ketchup. Those are my favorite fries.

I like the french fries from McDonalds. On a more general term - i do love fries with seasoning/spices on them - curly, wedges any shape just as long as it has seasoning on them.

Like awonderfullife and roi452, I like McDonald's fries the best. No ketchup necessary; they're good just like they are. But I only like them when they're hot. Lukewarm McDonald's fries are a complete waste, nasty!

Lately I have fallen in love with sweet potato fries. It is the whole package for me. Sweet and salty, crisp and soft. I love them. In my mind I feel like they are better for me than regular fries, but they probably are not. They are yummy.

I LOVE curly fries also, but basically any sort of seasoned fries are my favorite. If the fries aren't seasoned, then I need something good to dip them in--and I hate ketchup. :) So it's usually mustard or ranch dressing for me.

I'll eat them anyway, we call them chips and i suppose they are slightly different as we have what we call french fries as well which are skinny ships basically. I love crinkle cut and curly fries though too. Any form as long as it's served with tartare sauce.

Arby's curly fries with cheese to dip or homemade. When making my homemade I take a large zip-lock bag, put in: 1/4 cup flour, 2-3 tablespoons seasoning salt, an equal amount of Ortega taco seasoning, 2 teaspoons smoked paprika, add the fries and shake well before deep-frying. Drain on paper towel and top with melted cheese and bacon bits (also homemade). They are so good.

I love french fries that have the seasoning on them. My favorite would be curly fries as they have the spices on them! They are so yummy! I also find that burger king have really nice flavored french fries so tasty! I tend to prefer long thin fries rather that thick chunky ones! The best kind of french fries?........ I'd have to go with Curly fries! Can't beat them!
