What is the most you have made on mylot and how did you find out about the site?

I am new to the site just joined this week and I was wondering what the most you have ever earned in a month here on this site? Also how did you find out about mylot? THis looks like a fun site and very informative as well. Also how do you get friends on this site, is their a way to request friends from posts that you enjoy? Thanks for the information.

Would you believe that I am yet to get my first payout this June after a year? You wouldn't believe it but it took me a year to reach 10$. I was inactive for a while because of graduate school. plus I couldn't easily find nice discussions to respond to. I get frustrated when I create my own discussions because nobody seems to respond to it. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like quitting already. But i am enjoying it here because I am learning a lot from different cultures across the globe. I guess that's my only consolation.

I find that amazing, I just joined and have found many discussions very interesting and have commented on a few. I know what you mean about starting discussions, I have noticed that most of the discussions that I have started get very few responses. I love just reading posts and being on the site though, to me the earnings are just an added bonus, a very nice bonus I must add.

I spend at least 20 minutes everyday in mylot, if I have enough free time. I dont consider this as a method to make money, instead use it for conveying my thoughts to others. The cash is just a small bonus.

I agree though I must admit I joined for the money, because I thought that it would be alot like myspace where people just say hi or party at ....
It is amazing how much great advice I have recieved.
