Have you ever planted a garden or crop in a field or even a portion of a field as the Native Indians once did by hand or as the Amish without the use of modern machinery?

Yes we did plant a garden about 2 years ago. We planted a few rows of corn, some watermelon, tomatoes, squash, etc., all by hand. Then we put up a fence all around our property because we have goats & bulls. One thing we forgot to do was put up a fence around the garden. Guess what, by the time we knew it the Goats were in the garden and had eaten all the plants, vegetables... EVERYTHING!
