Are you satisfied with your life?

Well, I am not really satisfied with my life at the moment and it all has to do with achievements, which is how people judge others. I understand (more or less) the language, but don't speak it well. I don't have a job and have little chances of getting one. I arrived here nearly 15 years ago and I have 1 friend, which was inherited rather than made. I don't speak to anybody outside my husband and 2 children and spend most days alone. My computer is my best friend, as it just sits there waiting for me to type things. I used to have a job many years ago and I was successful then. I also know what it is like to have friends, cause I had many, but now it is all in the past and its not easy. I wish I had a bit of your name, some Fighting Spirit! Don't know what the 31 stands for, but it is in a friend's email address too, so I like it, though my favourite one is the other way round: 13! I'm very satisfied with my life. Just being alive makes me happy and I thank God for giving me the gift of life. I also thank him for providing me supportive and loving parents as well as caring siblings. I thank God for showering us his blessings especially good health and binding our family despite being away from each other. My parents being in the province, while me and my brother are here in the city, and my sister is abroad. We always keep in touch. And I thank God for giving me a good job to make a living. What else could I ask for? Am I not really satisfied with my life? I'm very much...and will always be thankful to God for the life He has given me.

I'm satisified with how far I have come in my life BUT there's so much more that I want to accomplish. Before I became a mother, I didn't really care what happened in my life but now I have two children that I need to care for. They deserve better than what I can give them right now. My goal is to get my degree in medical assisting and work my way up. I work at a group home and it pays bills, but we hardly have any money left over after all the neccessities are bought.

It's the way we live it and the way we deal with it. If we live life to the fullest and do things sincerely and by heart then, this would certainly lead to satisfaction. dissatisfaction comes from guilt or knowing that you haven't given something your best effort. Do your best in everything you do. Success is sweet especially if you've worked hard for it. That for me, is satisfaction... guaranteed. ^^
