Look at this: Going clubbing anytime soon? Want to impress someone with your muscle tone? Then maybe you heard that some guys are spreading the hemorrhoid cream on their chests to look “ripped.” It’s an off-label use that Wyeth Consumer Health disavows. But the trend is likely to ring the register anyway. LOL!! I've also heard that women use it to reduce puffiness around their eyes. LOL!

Strangely enough, doctors say the relief provided by it when used as it was meant to be is largely due to its placebo effect! I'm just glad my eldest son, a weightlifter, hasn't heard of this!

Ok, here is another use that you will never believe. When I was in the military, I trained in the desert in California on several different occasions. Though I used chap stick, my lips got so chapped that every time I smiled, my lips would start bleeding in no less than 5 or 6 places. I kept a new tube of hemorrhoid cream just for that as they would numb and bring a little relief to my very sore lips. At that point, I would have been willing to try most anything for just a little relief.

Think what our poor guys in Iraq go through! Chapstick is in great demand there. I guess everything has uses we'd never think of.

I have no doubt that for every product, there is someone that has figured out a use that no one would think of.

Willy the Groundskeeper - Willy the Groundskeeper is, like any red-blooded Scot, the epitome of muscular manhood.
Hi dragon54u,I would have thought that hemorrhoid cream would have the opposite effect to what they wanted - don't the muscle men WANT to have veins popping out all over their Apollonian physiques? Not that I'd care - who wants to be Governor of California anyway? (Especially if it involved marrying Maria Shriver - eeewww!).

Poor Maria's face looks like a skull, more as she ages. She was pretty when she was younger. The cream tightens the skin temporarily so the muscles show through better. This is like women using lots of makeup, people will eventually see you as you really are so why pretend?

i have never heard of using it on your chest or eyes. I wonder how people find these things out? do they just sit around and think "oh, i wonder what else i can use hemorrhoid cream for" lol but another way to it would be on your tattoos. my brother used it on his tattoo. He says it helps them heal faster.

I didn't know it was good for healing but I think I'll stick to generic Neosporin!

The chest thing is news to me, but it's not just women who use the stuff on eye baggage. Conan O'Brien swears by the stuff as I'm sure other male celebrities as well. LOL!

Oh now that is ridiculous! How funny! I tell you what, it would take a good few tubes of the stuff to make my hubby's chest looked 'ripped'

You know, the reason married women are heavier than singles is that a single woman comes out of the bedroom, looks in the fridge and goes back to bed. The married woman looks at what's in bed and heads for the fridge.
