I am new to this site, and trying to figure out how it works. I love to chat, and meet new friends. All discussions are important, ideas are founders of great minds. There are lots of lonely people out there, and they are each unique in their own way. I have many interest, and most of all.... have an open mind! My many years as a customer service representative taught me well.... My question is: Is there anyone on this site that wants a true friend, to carry on a conversation about their interest? I am a good listener! Waiting to hear from you!

Don't worry, Sarah, friend requests will start coming your way before you know it. Also you can request a friend if you see responses or comments in other discussions that interest you. When I started I only had 4 friends and responses were pretty slim. But as people begin to notice you and your discussions they will start filtering in. I found the FAQs had more useful information than the TOS sections. But, or course, both areas are important to read.
I read a couple of your other discussions and found we have a few things in common. I, too. spent 21 years in the banking system (IT) before retiring. And also some time in customer service jobs like airline reservations and Hewlett Packard email coordinator.

Thank you Nova! How do I get somoeone to rate me? If they do not rate, or if no comment from them, then not sure my information was helpful. I do desire to be helpful on this site!

Basically to have many friends...you need to be one. You need to start it. Send friend requests to the people you think the post is interesting. You can join the discussions of the posts that interests you and you can add whoever started it. That is how simple it is. to keep them, you need to keep in touch with them by joining the discussions of their posts. Take care

Thank you for the comment leateagee! Yes, those words "to have many friends, you need to be one" sounds like my Mom's advice! I do miss her words, her love for nature chats & most of all friendship! Thanks again!
