What's your biggest complaint with your life?

Right now, my biggest complaint is that my spouse won't prepare his own food, even on his day off. It's more of a gripe, than a complaint. It seems like a tiny thing, but I'd like to take the weekend off. Some days he will prepare a sandwich for himeself, but that's about it. He really needs to be more self-sustaining. I'm way to busy taking care of my kid to babysit him. And, I don't even have time to prepare my own food, so why should I have to prepare his, when he is more than capable. So, that's my gripe! What's yours? So, what type of things do you feel like complaining about? Do you wish you had more time for yourself to do the things you want, but you can't because you're always helping others? What type of things do you wish you had most? More money? More time? More understanding from others? Better health?

Number 1. I'm too short. Number 2. I'm too short. Number 3. I'm too short. I wish I were a little taller and wear that dress I saw in the shop yesterday. I always find it difficult to find the right fit for me and I cannot wear all types of clothing style because I'm stunted.

Oh yes, I can! LOL! I'm the shortest in my family. My eldest sister is 5'7 and I'm 9" shorter. Well, I'm the cutest anyway.

I'm five foot tall! Can you beat that? LOL! Most women are really short, these days. It's the modern curse, after the other modern curse.

Hmmm, let's see. The biggest complaint with my life right now is that I sit on my butt ALL DAY LONG! I work in an office and I sit about 9 hours a day. Sometimes even 5 hours straight. I wish I could exercise more, but I guess I'm not motivated to get up every 1/2 or so and just take a quick stroll around the block..as I'm writing this, I'm thinking about it more and more....stop complaining and do something about it!! BRB gonna go for a quick walk - LOL..

I giggled out loud when I read your post. Thanks for the chuckle. You sound like me. I really do need to get up and move around more often.

My biggest complaint right now is probably just that I have too much stuff that I need to get done before my husband deploys! He has a lot of stuff that he needs to get done, too, so he can't really help me with mine. I did get everything bought that I wanted, besides the block heater and the remote start for my minivan. Sometimes it almost makes me wish we hadn't got the van (our old car, of course, already had that stuff), but I love it, so I'm still glad we did. My husband is working on putting up our fence, and then he has to rearrange our storage shed. I need to get our spare room cleaned out, and my whole house reorganized! My sister might come up and stay with Elliott and me part of the time that my husband is gone, so it would be nice if she had somewhere to sleep, other than the couch! Of course I also have all the regular things to do each day, like cooking, regular cleaning, playing with and taking care of my toddler, doing stuff online to earn the money for the block heater and remote start (combined they are going to cost over $700, and I have to earn that much extra money online, between now and the middle of August!). It's going to be a crazy busy summer at our house for sure!

Oh my goodness! You are one busy lady! I hope you make your goal of the entire $700.

I would like more time! Now that I have four children and a lovely husband I struggle to find waking hours for myself. My biggest problem would be figuring out how to maintain everything, housework and attending appointments and schooling etc as well as make sure that I do enough in MY life, just for me without feeling selfish. So I don't want to give anyone less time, just give me more time somehow. Maybe we could have an extra day of the week and that could be my day? - anyone else want an 8 day week? (of course it would be an extra weekend day, not an extra work day) I would also like more good, trustworthy friends! These days other people don't seem to have much time to themselves either. Friendship also seems to mean something different than it used to - hrmm or am I just getting old and full of morals! So, if I could have an extra day to spend with all these new faithful, trustworthy friends I would be a happier me. I don't think these things will happen, so I think I will just wish for more energy to create more fun in my life without changing it one bit, just adding to it.

I think you should talk with your husband to let him know that attend the child is the both duty of yours, not just only you! If your husband is so busy ,I could forgive him, besides,I hope you could have amah helping you!

I wish I had a lot more money and lived closer to downtown tustin and that I did not have shingles or IBS. but other than that I am really quite happy with my life. I am contented with what I have and with my three hundred dollars for the stimulus pkg.and i will get over the shingles and then theIBS will be gone according to my doctor.
