Are you an auditory or a visual learner?

Do you learn in class better when you hear something, or when you see an example? I am very much an auditory learner. I can write, read, or watch anything, barely paying attention to the lecture at hand and still seem to soak up most of the info that is being said. I think that I am very lucky to be like this. I have an almost audiographic memory. I can remember and repeat almost all conversations I have had. Sometimes I do forget all the dead meat in the lecture, but the principle behind it seems to always sink in. What about you?

i am more of a visual learner... classrooms are like hell to me for the lectures are so boring. i feel irritated in continuously listening to something unless and until it is demonstrated in someway. practical labs are exciting and also i study more by reading books only.

it seems I am out numbered. Maybe it has something to do with me being left handed. Are any of you guys left handed?

That is so amazing! Hmmm, I believe I am both. When I study, I like to read them aloud so I can hear them at the same look at what I am studying. My classmates were often annoyed bec. they couldn't concentrate they hear me. I also tend to forget things so the visuals play an important role for me, like recalling the picture/letter/some things that I have associated with in my study.

I am a visual learner. I need to see something done, and then try it myself before i can fully grasp something.

I am visual learner, especially with something like math or science. If I just listen nothing will sink in, and I need to take notes as well. I wish i was a auditory learner though :/
