I do. I always have. When I was a kid you couldn't keep me in and it hasn't really changed much. Oh, there for awhile when Nintendo came out, I stopped being active outdoors. Worst thing that could have ever happened because I stopped burning the calories I consumed. lol. My bad!
What kind of outdoor activities do you like?
I love to garden, play with the kids at the park, walk, bike, swim, hike, ride horses, wash the car, mow lawn.. all except hunting. I cannot abide killing Bambi or Thumper.

when i was a kid i was deprived from going out of the house by my very protective parents and brothers. but i guess i really love outdoor activities - i sneaked out at times and in school i stayed and played until i can. my classmates and i would run and play black 1-2-3 (running and catching your opponents), volleyball, basketball, jack stone, chinese garter (jumping), piko, patintero and other games.
now that i am an adult, my love for outdoor activities still runs in my blood. i would play lawn tennis, swimming and basketball if i have the chance. i just hope i could do it much more often.

Piko sounds a lot like our version of hopscotch. They both sound fun.

some of those i have mentioned are street games here in the philippines, they are all really really fun! most of the filipino kids here know how to play such games, they are commonly played in the streets and school playgrounds. i hope you can try learning them some time and you might enjoy them especially piko (throw stones inside the drawn boxes in the ground and you will pick it up while standing in one leg or by reaching so far) and patintero (you catch your opponents while you are standing on a straight line).

Hi tanniebabe78! I do love outdoor activities! Unfortunately, during schooldays when I have to work, I can't engage that much in outdoor activities. Well, yeah, only during Sundays. I love swimming, walking my dogs and trekking and hiking. The next few months will be the rainy season in our country so I am sure that I will rarely do outdoor activities.

Is the rain cold or warm where you are? Rain never stopped me unless it was accompanied by lightning.

It can get really cold here when it rains. And when it rains... it really pours!

I have always enjoyed the outdoors. When I was a kid I would play outside in the summer usually all day . Play baseball , hike, and go for swims . I miss those days . As an adult I love to still do all the above + throw in garden , I love it !!
Nature has always had a soft spot in my heart , nothing like the warm sun hitting your skin !!
OH , and I could never hunt as well !!

I did/do too. There wasn't much we didn't do when I was a kid. I had the best of both worlds with being a townie during the week and a country girl (cousins house) on the weekends. So my childhood was full of great adventures.

I love being outdoors! Despite the severe budget crunch we're going through here, hubby and I are planning a urban tour of New York City. Our goal is to explore all five boroughs and photograph our travels. We're going to be taking public transportation in order to save some bucks (well, alot of bucks actually lol). If I could, I'd love to take my kids camping upstate but right now it seems unlikely (my oldest needs braces and the insurance is taking the cheap way out!)

I love the outdoors. My favorite kinds of outdoor activities are sports like, basketball, soccer, football, running, and baseball. I also enjoy going swimming, walking with friends, biking in the hills, and eating ice cream with a group.
