Well...i dont think that you should worry that much...we get eyeglasses due to the eye strain we keep and lack of the vitamins...which are required for the proper eye strenghtening.....I think that you can take good care of your kid....just see to that....

i remember a doctor-niece telling me that yes, when both parents wear eyeglasses, there is a more likable chance that your daughter will acquire it too. if only 1 parent wears glasses, there is also a chance, but slimmer. take good care of your daughter's eyes. go for annual check up while she is young , so you may correct it while early. anyway, there are already many remedies like laser, which my husband has undergone, and was satisfied around 10 years ago.

Most common vision problems are caused by the shape of the eye which, I would assume would be passed from parent to child, but it's no guarantee because your child can also receive traits from grandparents and farther back. I have four children. My ex-husband and I both have vision problems but only one of our children wear contacts. My son is built like his great grandfather, who was tall and big boned, while my ex and my father are slight. Isn't DNA grand?

Its possible but I think it depends on the family genes like she may have the genes of another family member of yours or your husbands, on the other hand if she has the genes from you or your husband she may have the weak vision, my dad has to wear glasses from having what they call a 'lazy eye' I too needed to wear glasses when I was younger as I was diagnosed with a lazy eye also,, doctors told me my vision wont improve even with the glasses thats why I stopped wearing them my right eye is now compensating for my full vision... but then my brother well he didnt need glasses at all so thats why I think it comes down to the genes
