We are always together on the weekends we either do something as a family, or we stay home and relax. My husband and I occasionaly take the children each for one on one time with either of us.This is easy because we only have two, but our girls like this time.

Well life is busy in our house. But we still spend a lot of time together as a family. We spend the whole weekends together doing things as a family, spend at least two hours after school together and that doesn't include eating at the table.
It may help that out children are 10, 8 and 8, and they are not allowed to play outside the garden on there own.
Our 19 year old has just left home so we don't see her so much as she is nursing and has to do shift work and wekends, but we all try to make time to chat to her on the phone and see her at least once a forenight. We shall be seeing her for the whole weekend this weekend which will be lovely

I stay at home with my kids too - it's better for them to be raised by me than by someone else!
I don't think me choosing to stay with them means i'm unsocial or anything, it's just something i have chosen to do as i would prefer things to be this way!
My daughter & i now have loads of time to spend together, weekends the 3 of us are together, when my other half isn't working & then the rest of the family get fairly regular visits but not too often - otherwise it just gets too much.
