Do You Prefer Eating In or Going Out?

In todays busy hustle and bustle of life, we all are limited it seems in time. Sometimes it can even affect our eating habits, and the time we spend eating.
When you have time to spend for a nice quite meal, would you rather cook it at home, and enjoy it there, or go out somewhere and let someone else cook for you? Personally, it does depend on our situation, but for the most part, I would rather eat at home. When you have to eat ouy all of the time, it can actually get boring.

It's good to eat at home when you know you cook well or there's somebody who will do it for you. As for me, I love to eat outside but of course I can't do that always because it's really expensive and not healthy. You get a lot of unnecessary carbs and oils. Foods prepared at home are more nutritious most of the time. You think so?

hmm... i would eat at home because it is quite convenient.. as in you can eat whenever you want to. But the downside is that you have to wash those dishes once you are done eating unless you have a maid to cook and wash those dishes for you. :) On the other hand, eating out ain't so bad too.. you get to choose from a large variety of food and drinks compared to when you are eating at home where there is a limitation to the number of dishes you can cook.

I mostly cook my own meals so eating out becomes a real
pleasure for me. I get out among other people and feel'
less homebound all the time. Then I go home and also
enjoy fixing a different meal. so its about half and'
half.

I prefer eating in but going out is nice sometimes though quite rare at the moment with work and child in tow except if its McDonalds and that's not really eating out for me..
I like to cook and enjoy the meal with my daughter. Although eating out is fun sometimes, I like to not worry if we're making a mess or not or minding our table manners or the awkward stares you get sometimes like you just splashed your food on your forehead or something..:)
Eating in definitely..

Eating out is nice and good but after a while I start craving for some home cooked meals. Since I'm not the greatest cook out there I mostly eat out. But the food starts tasting the same after a while. That's why it's a big treat whenever my mom decides to cook. The food she prepares are usually different and things I haven't had in a while. This is something I always look forward to.

I love to eat out. I can get more variety that way; eating an cuisine I want, plus get dessert if I feel like it. There are tons of foods I love but can't make at home- fried rice, burritos, sushi...

To me there is nothing as good a home cooked meal. I love to cook for my friends in the aparment and i really love it. To me cooking is like therapy, no matter what kind of mood I'm in, or how I feel, I can get in the kitchen and start cooking and it is very relaxing. Plus I like to know what is in my food, and have you seen some of the people working in those fast food places. Scary! I think home cooked meals are more healthy than fast food.

In or out doesn't really matter. I know that you spend more when you eat out than what you do when you eat in. For the price of a going out meal you can make at least 5 meals if you just went to the store and brought what you went out to eat at home. Just my thought.

Through the week my parents typically cook at home and I eat with them. However, usually if I'm out with friends we'll go somewhere and eat out (which is about onc eor twice a week). it really just depends on the time of day and where I am or who I'm with.

I prefer cooking and eating at home if A) I have the time, and B) if I have all the ingredients I need for some fabulous new recipe. I've been trying out a lot of new vegetarian recipes and it's been challenging, yet interesting and fun - I'm expanding my taste buds! When you eat out at a regular restaurant it can be difficult to find things that are healthy and good. For instance, I LOVE pizza, and there is one restaurant in town that makes an organic whole grain crust...but otherwise their food stinks.
My husband and I go out usually once every 10 days and order in pizza at least once a week.

I prefer to eat in but hate to cook, where my wife loves to eat out, but it's getting to the point where it's costing a lot of money. Lately she's been going to "My girlfriends kitchen" and making premade meals that just need heating up, it's working out great.

Personally I would prefer eating at home. It is economically cheaper, no risk of food poisoning, and they are healthier. My wife does all the cooking for both of us since we have no kids yet, all I can say for her is way superb. She is an excellent cooker I'd say and sometimes I have suggested her many times that her cookings are comparable to normal restaurant foods. Her cookings always taste very nice and I love it. It's not just economically cheaper but I can take any portion of food, unlike ones in restaurants that I have to re-order it again and pay extra for it. Because she cooks I rarely buy any food outside except if she is tired.

This will depend if I am already outside.
If I am already outside, I might just as well eat out.
But if I am at home to start with, I might not want to leave the house for meals. Quite a chore really lol... and even sumptuous food can fail to tempt me.

I get the best of both worlds. My hubby is a really good cook. So I get to eat in. And sometimes have the food prepared for me. I like eating at home. I think it is healthier.

Yes I am definately limited on my time, I do not spend much time eating. Many times I go without food because I am too busy.
I actually prefer to go out if I got the chance, going out means I can relax even more, at home when I eat it can be stressful as we have the four kids there causing grief!
I agree that it would get boring if I was eating out all the time, I just went on holiday and we ate out everyday and everything was the same and so I was getting a bit fed up of it.

Personally I would always eat out if I had a choice. I cannot imagine it ever getting boring either. I'll give you four reasons why not:
1. You don't need to plan.
2. You don't need to shop.
3. You don't need to cook.
4. You don't need to clean up after. That's washing dishes as well as cleaning your stove, cooker, oven or whatever.
These four things are not exactly high on my list of favorite hobbies even though eating is.
I think those things are far more boring than having a good meal out!
