Do you notice yourself losing mylot points ?

yes, just a while ago that i lost 15 points.. its probably the - ratings that i got.. coz sometimes i respond silly to those "what is your age" kind of questions...

when i comment on my discussions my rating goes down, that is so stupid. people keep saying it's cause discussions get deleted. that may be the case sometimes but not always. it goes down right after i comment.

yes i too have noticed that daily 1 or 2 points are decreasing from my ratings... i dont know y it is like that....

Hi. Yes I have noticed this. I thought it was because I haven't been here as much as I used to be. I have been checking out this site: www.randpolys.com/p.php?id=1237 It has been taking up a lot of my time; checking things out. About a week ago I noticed a lot of my posts were gone. I don't know why. There was nothing wrong with them. I mean they weren't obscene or anything. Have you read the new guidelines? I have. I don't see anything in there that I have gone against. So, I just don't know what's going on!

Yes, it has happened to me. My star rating has also gone down. It is very frustrating and disheartening. I try to post quality responses and I feel like I am no longer being rewarded like I was previously. Has your star rating been affected also?

This did happen a lot around October when you started this discussion and still does even now. The reasons can be a few and they might include someone giving you a negative rating for a discussion you started or even a response you made to one. Also there have been quite a lot of people banned from myLot and even though you might have responded to one of their better quality discussions, if they are banned then all their discussions are gone and so are the responses. It doesn't mean that there was anything wrong with your response, but the person who started the discussion was banned for some infraction of the rules. It is not good when this happens, and it actually happened when a couple of people who were on my list of friends suddenly had a few discussions deleted and in another instance the person was banned. I am not sure why this actually happened of course, but it did mean that my points took a very drastic drop, about 50 in total, over a few days. As anyone who has read any of my responses would know, I do make good quality responses (in my opinion anyway) and none of them are just a couple of words, but we have to take the good with the bad. I would rather lose points actually that have the cheats and spammers cluttering up the board with frivolous inane discussions. :)

yup i saw my number of posts getting less... it reduced by two or three... couldn't figure out how it happened... anybody can tell more on this.

I have also lost some points in Mylot but it doesnt happen to me everyday! Only twice I lost my points in mylot. First time i lost 3 points and the next time i lost 13 points. But after that, my points never reduced? Is that, everyday u r loosing points???? If so, then u need to approach mylot people for this issue??????

I only notice my points dropping if a person I responded to was banned, or if discussions were removed. I usually do not deal with that problem very much....Mylot's point system is very fair, and I enjoy mylots system. Sometimes my points drop if I replied to a discussion where everyone disagrees but that is rarely as most mylot people are fair with the rating system. - DNatureofDTrain
