who knows how to read guitar tabulation?

I'm also not really sure about this, but I'll just give my input based on what I know. Guitar chords are just like chords in any other instrument and they are written in letters, for example the chord of A, C#, E and so on. On the other hand, guitar tabs show you what strings to press on your guitar, and they normally come with chords as well. This is my understanding of the difference; if I'm wrong, somebody who's more knowledgeable in guitar please correct me ya!
