Does anyone else here use Snapfish to archive their photos and then buy them. I have been using them for about 6 months and have been very pleased with their work. Snapfish's draw back is the you have to pay postage. I do not leave near where you can pick up your photos so I have to wait till they come in the mail.
I have big plans to put the photos in a book. Lets see when I get that done. I have hundreds to do.
Does anyone else like Snapfish or do you use another photo archiving system?

I've never used them, but my mom has! She shot some wedding photos for a lady who used Snapfish, so my mom posted the photos onto Snapfish for the bride to review. Because my mom was new to Snapfish, they gave her so many free prints just for signing up. So she uploaded a bunch of photos she took at my grandmother's 90th birthday party and got a set of free prints. She also sent the link to other family members so they could review the photos and order any prints they wanted.
The prints that arrived were very high quality! I was very pleased with them.
A few years ago when I bought a digital camera, it came with a free photo printer. So ever since then I've just printed my own digital photos.
I guess the benefit of using a site like Snapfish is that you can share your photos with friends and family members and they can order any prints they want.

I love Snapfish, the quality of their prints are great. Plus you can store all of your pictures no matter how many you have. Another great thing is that they also have specials. IF you sgn up check your email they will often email you specials. I think I have recieved like 50 free prints plus one free large poster print. I order all of my photos through them because the quality is so good. I have used Wal-Mart, SamsClub, and Walgreens and they did not compare. Another bonus is you can have photos sent directly to your friends or family. THat came in handy when I was living 700 miles away from all of our family.
Note to any one thiniking of joining, the special for new members is 50 free prints and a free 8x10.

I've used Snapfish many times for their calendars and other gift items. I always get compliments on how nice the items look. I am beginning to get requests for my calendars that are printed on that site. The only problem is that the calendars are just too expensive for me to print them for sale to other people. I know that they give a discount for bulk orders, but it's not that much. However, if you are just ordering a few gifts here and there, then I would definitely recommend them.

I can understand if you are reselling calanders it would get to expensive. How about sending people to your site and letting people order the calander for their self I know you can send them photos. That might bring the cost down.

I didn't know I could do that. I looked for a way to do that last time and I didn't see how I can do it. Maybe they've made some changes since I've last ordered.

I use Snapfish to order prints for my pictures because I have a lot of free credits with them from the McDonald's Monopoly game a couple of years ago. I don't store my photos there, I always use Flickr pro account. Flickr saves the image at the same size and quality in which you upload it so you can go back and use it again from its original form but Snapfish makes the pictures smaller and I don't think you can get the original sized image back off the site. I always have my stuff mailed from Snapfish too, I love how many promotions they run, I think the only thing I have had to pay for from them so far was for 2 rolls of film to be developed.

I have heard of snapfish before, but I have never actually tried it before. I am always thinking that I will make a photo book there sometime, but I just never seem to get around to doing it. My husband and I are finally going to be going on a honeymoon this fall, so maybe I will make a book with the pictures from our trip!

Check it out they are great. You can order your photos, books and all kinds of things. I ordered 3 note books with my daughters photo on the cover. I will give the note books out as gifts. The photos are 9 cents a picture. That is less than the walgreen here. The drawback is you can get them faster at walgreens.
Walmart is 12 cents a print and you do not have to pay postage if you have them delivered to a store. Then you have to pay for the gasoline or bus ride to the store.
The quality of the photos of snapfish is great and they have never messed up an order. I have ordered hundres of photos from them. I love that they archive my photos I was afraid if my computer went down OH no what would happen to my photos, what would happend to my photos if my house burned down?
Look into snapfish. If you are interested I get free photos if you join under me.
I did not realize this when I started this discussion I found that part out last night while dowloading more vacation photos.

I think their quality is better than Wal-mart or Wal-greens photo department.
