what was the brand of your first digital camera?

Mine is SONY. I think its the cheapest of all the sony digital camera models. But its okay it has 7.2 megapixels already. I bought it last year prior to my vacation. Then I left it with my family when I came back here in Saudi for work. That would be my first digital camera and maybe the last. If I will buy again maybe it will be a video cam already...Hopefully soon...

hello rhane, well i have been using the sony digital cameras since i remember. now i have a eight mega pixel and 4x optical zoom in my camera. it is going very fine and since a year i have not received any problems. well i was also fond of my first camera but later i gave that to my sister. any ways have a good day.

Good for you my friend. I have been longing to have my own digital camera too. But the budget for it still not coming my pocket, lol. If I already earned a lot here, maybe I will get one. I like a Sony brand digicam. I hope it will come soon...

The brand of my first digital camera was Kodak. I like Kodak not very much, I use it just because someone bought it to me as a birthday gift. I like Canon more than any other brand of digital camera.

My first digital camera was an HP Photosmart 315. It was pretty good for the time. IT was only 1.3MP but it lasted me a good few years the bad thing about it was how fat it went through batteries.

I bought my first digital camera in the year of 2002 before having my three weeks china trip. I purposely picked a handy one which weighed only 95 gm. It was a pink color Sony Cyber-shot U using a pair of double A rechargeable batteries. As its LCD was too small, 2cm x 1.5 cm and also with 1.3 megapixel only, so last year my husband bought a 3 x optical zoom and 7.1 megapixel Olympus all weather digital camera for me as my birthday gift. I like capturing pictures so the camera is always with me.

I don't remember how I got my first digital camera. It must have been a gift at some point because I got it when I was young and wouldn't have been able to afford one myself. My first one was a Fuji with about 3 mp which at that time was a lot. My dog chewed the lens off of it a couple of years ago and I had to get a newer one. My other two have been Canons, I don't like the memory card for Fujis so I was really happy with the upgrade.

My first digital camera was given to me by my fiance (now husband). It was canon and when we got married, he ask me to give it to my sister and since he knows that I am very obsessed of taking pictures, he got me another one. Same brand! Sentimental value for me is my watch given to me by my dad when I was still 16 years old and I still have it with me, it's still working!

I got mine just a week ago. It was sent by my husband through courier. It is a Kodak C530 with 5.0 megapixels. I'm planning to buy a sony so I could give mine to my eldest kid.

I have no idea what my first digital camera was. It was a gift for Christmas I think and I don't even know what kind it was.

Very strange that all the responses are Sony users.... And strange enough again is the fact that my first digital was a Sony. I can't remember the name of it now but I currently own a Sony Cybershot DSC-F707. I love it but I need to upgrade to more MPs. I'm thinking of getting the Sony Alpha 700 SLR.

hello~ I got my first camera 4 months ago as my birthday present from my mum and I was really happy with it. It's a Fujifilm - finepix something something ...603??! Anyway, the day my mum went out and bought a brand new cyber shot 2nd generation camera...lol, sob T_T ...XD

I had a sony pixar camera as my first, then I got the sony digital camera that is super slim and I love it. My hubby always wants to get me a newer better one but I am like "Nope I love my sony" Anytime I feel like I have lost it I get all out of sorts because I do not want to change that camera at all, I just love my camera, it is my second digital camera I own.

Hi rhane7315! I just have bought a Sony Cybershot camera. Though it's not my original choice, I took it because of my budget limitation. Anyway I found it alright and happy and content with it's performance.

I bought my first digital camera and it is sony cybershot with 2.0 megapixel. I bought a sony because it's reliable and we have a service center near our place in case it broke down. It is still working today. The only thing I don't like about it is the battey. I require a NiMH rechargeable battery and it won't power up if you use an ordinary battery. The battery it's quite expensive and if you bought low quality type you are doomed. It won't power up. The picture is quite good and doesn't require so many memory. It's good for medium quality picture. My second camera is a canon. I don't remember the model now because I left it in the taxi and it never come back. Anyway, I bought a third camera, another canon, power shot s3 with 6.0megapixel. I like this one because it's possible to replaced it's lenses and have a good quality night vision picture. It has macro and picture stiching features. It has a lot of control option and if you are a photography guys it's a good starte camera. So far I can't understand all its feature so I took picture in auto mode. At least you can view the picture instantly and if you don't like it, delete it and retake picture. The problem now is printing all the pictures you have taken. It takes a fortune to print them all and it also take a lot of memory on your hard drives. Need more memory.

I heard Pentax is a good brand of camera. I love cameras! I use my camera whenever I go to new places and when I go to parties. My parents don't buy me expensive things so I asked my uncle yo buy me a digital camera. The brand of my camera is Olympus. I like the resolution and the features. I am so lucky to have a very generous uncle qho always buy the things that I want. I don't even have to beg. LOL! My parents are also lucky because they don't have to spend for my luxury. Hehe! :0)

I bought it with my wife and the brand of it was sony T3. it cost more than RMB3,000(about $450USD). maybe I should buy a brand TCL. we can save 2/3.LOL

my first ever digital camera was a samsung digimax. I paid half of it and half of my 'rents money. Congratulations on owning one. have fun with it! ;]
