What is your favorite summer vacation spot?

Me and my husband are trying to figure out where to take our summer vacation. I am a flight attendant so we can pretty much travel anywhere, Europe is so expensive for us American's right now so I was looking for somewhere that was affordable. Let me know where you had your best vacation, what kind of activities you where able to do. Me and My husbands birthdays are in July so I was looking for something in July or August.
