Got a lot of work to do and need some sleep? Instant sleep is probably the answer. You may sleep about 5 minutes or 10, then return to your duties. But maybe not many people can get into instant sleep. As for me, I can do it when i get very very tired and no time for a long sleep.
I want to hear your experience with this. Please share. thx...

Sometimes it is possible. :P
Usually I would do it when I’m on the bus, I rarely sleep instantly at our work place. However, this is not recommendable to do it on public transportation unless you can make sure that you would wake up “right on time”, because there was a risk that you would have fallen deep in asleep state when the bus reached your destination bus shelter. LOL.

Hi jofeli! It happens to me when I am really exhausted and then I just fall asleep. Then be awakened so suddenly because I know that I have still a lot of things to do but somehow when I have those kind of sleep, I felt rejuvenated or energized.
Take Care and God Bless!

Why does your work require you of so much time? I think you need to have the needed time of sleep so that you yourself can do your work more effectively and be as productive as possible.
I often sleep anyway during afternoons whenever there is time especially whenever there is no work to be done. :)

I certainly can't do instant sleep. I have real problems getting to sleep at night. It takes me ages to fall asleep. It has alot to with temperatures. I have to be the exact right temperature i can't be too hot or too cold. Then i can never get comfy so i fidget for a while too.
I always end up exhausted during the day and sometimes i do end up falling a sleep in the afternoon. But thats completely out of my control i do just drift off with out realizing until i wake up couple of hours later.
As for instant sleep, whenever i want to or need to sleep. When i get in that situation of being settled down and ready to sleep i really struggle to drift off. I just can't do instant sleep. I would love to be able to. I see so many advantages to it!

You are talking about NAP and not the sleep. Yes, it is true that 5-10 minutes of nap in the afternoon will rejunovate the body and mind.

I can't sleep for 5 to 10 minutes as it takes abou 20 to 30 minites for me to sleep and if I sleep I cant wakeup in 5 to 10 minutes. But this does not bother me as I don't need much sleep as I sleep only 4 to 5 hours daily. If I have some important work then I can go even without sleep. I don't really get very tired when I get invovled in the work.

I couldn't do this. It takes me a long time to fall asleep. Even if I slept only 5 minutes I would waste over half an hour just trying to get to sleep. And I doubt I would wake easily once I did get to sleep. That's great if you can micronap, though. They say they are great pick-me-ups during the day and can really help focus and concentration.
