I'm not sure if my other post went through since I wasn't registered yet so I wanted to try again. I am throwing my son a 4th bday party this weekend. There will be girls & boys & different ages. (Only 8 of them though) Should we play games, do a craft, just play outside or all of the above...???????? HELP?!! Also any suggestions for games or crafts would be very helpful & appreciated... yeah thats what you should do if you have paint liek washable i did this for my halloween party and i had 2-3 yr olds doing it..get pie pans and paper plates and cut to fit give each child a pie pan with a cut plate inside hand out paint brushes and use another pie pan or just a paper plate to let the children dip in. the kids loved it and the pait was non toxic too. tell them to draw something then let them go back and play to run off some steam and then gather them up to do a candy hunt give each child a bag (have candy hidden and scattered out in the yard for some to easily see the candy) and have them search alone or with a parent. (or you can hide party toys too)then let them go and play for awhile and goup up again for something to eat or a snack. (i seggest something healthy)since they probably at some candy already from the candy search. it works great on 2-3 yr olds and they have no attention span lol. good luck.

i dont know were you live, but BounceU is a chain, check it out on the net, and see if you have one nearby. This is our 2nd birthday party there, and all of our friends are doing parites there too, its so much fun, even the adults love it!!

Playing outside if the weather is nice is always a hit at my son's parties.

For a 4 year old party, try this. Give each child a pack of crayons and a paper plate and let them make their own party mask or hat. An adult can cut out spots for the eyes, or fold into a cone shape for a hat, and add a ribbon to tie it on. I used to do this at my childrens parties and it was always a hit.

My daughter just turned 4 in Spetember. We had her party at the local Children's Museum and it was a lot of fun. That made it easy because they could pay in the museum and I did't have to worry about how to keep the occupied.

All of the above will be an enjoyment for the kids, Have a face painting, buy a pinana, prepare some goodie bags for games. Kids love to play so don't omit the outside activity.
