i think IPL tournament is enough but it should be like football league.1 or 2 matchs of a team in a week one home and 1 away so u can give ur player rest.IPL was good but 1 or 2 months are not enough to attract the attention of audience. give u audience some rest give them a week to think about ur last match.

Do you mean to say that the win of Rajasthan Royals had a dip in TRP's rating?
Anyhow that match went the Rajasthan Royals just because of one man and this is Dhoni.
He purposefully kept Badrinath out from the slog overs so that Badrinath does not show his brilliance and overshadow his (Dhoni) own poor form.

No i didn't mean that.I only doubt whether IPL can maintain its popularity if it is organised twice annualy. It will certainly mean 3 months of entertainment, but would that be worthy for a long time.
But, as you said Dhoni being the most expensive player didn't want that anyway..!!After all it is the question of Indian ODI captain's image..!!

well i think too much will negate the interest in people and also we have to think about the players. such a long tournament and they are really tires. it take a lot of energy out of them and that will mean that they will be too much prone to injuries. plus the factor of availability is there. i think icc should also combine and they should plan the tours in such a way that there s an IPL every year and then there are normal tours. in tat way foreign players can be taken without problems

IPL was certainly a hit league. TRP of IPL was much higher than any other show on the TV. But in my view organising IPL twice will be overdose and and as a result IPL won't that much entertaing. Also because of IPL the schedule of international cricket maybe altered.
