learn english books

i have learned english for six years ,at the beginning ,i read the books that i used in the school,later i tried to read some essays written by the man who is an american and to listen to the radio,now i can send some messages at mylot,but i don't know that my english is good or poor ,i want to get some help from friends ,could you help me?thanks.

Hi jake. English also my second language so i know how you feel when you try to post some english message and feel a bit confused how the best way to make the message a good English.
So far I notice you had a good English writing. Just keep on posting here.
My advice is, dont afraid to post. Just write what you wanted to write and you can learn from there. Your writing will be better and quicker. Try to read a simple English books first. After you can understand most of whats in the book, try more advanced English books. Watching English movies will help you a lot too. So you know how to speak and pronounce certain words.

I think that you are doing the right things to learn English. You should just practice and practice. And I think that Mylot is the best way for that.
