It just suddenly hit me... I heard some people saying that overexposure to computers could lead to sterility. How true is this? It shook me a bit since my course, my life, my work, deals mostly with hours in front of the computer. I want to live a happy life with a lovely wife and beautiful kids. If you have any info about this, please feel free to discuss it here.

I heard about this myth too. In my husbands' office they have 3 programmers, all married for ten years and more, but no children yet.And everybody around, me included (hehe) was made to believe in the myth--as it was bec of this that they tease these guys with.:))

I've heard that myth long long time ago when the monitors are just monochrome(green or amber). They say that radiation emitted by these monitors can cause sterility. This is why during those times screen filters are a hit computer accessories. But I have never seen any scientific proof during those times till now. I practically live my life with PCs and I have two kids. What I know for sure is myLot can lead to addiction.)

I have never heard that one!
I think the only way it would cause "sterility" is if you spend your entire life sitting at one and never going out into the real world to meet someone, fall in love, get married and have children.
I could be wrong, but honestly I have never heard of that.
