Hi Everyone I am back with a new discussion.
One of my other businesses is laser animation. I actually have the only registered company in The Philippines dedicated exclusively to laser show special effects and we provide lasers for most of the large special corporate events. In fact it is my laser that is seen every Sunday on SOP on GMA channel 7.
One of my heroes is Walt Disney. I love animation. I think my love for animation started when my mom took me to the cinema to see Bambi many years ago.
I am now doing research with ways to combine cartoons and making money and I would like to ask the forum what ideas you have for combining the two together.
How can we make money using cartoons?
Tim

I think you can earn money through cartoons by licensing. The artworks can be sold to suppliers (ex. clothing, housewares, etc) for a limited time or placement, depends on your terms. BUT, knowing the nature of business in the Philippines, you could lose large profits because of piracy (even drawings or cartoon character items are copied). If you have really great artworks or carton characters, I suggest print them on giclee and make limited edition prints. Good luck!

Hi there and thanks for your reply.
I like the idea of printing onto other materials and selling them. I will take a look at what is possible and see if I can come up with something.
I am heavily into public domain material as well so I think the opportunities could be huge.
Yes The Philippines is dangerous when it comes to stealing artworks and copying things although the government is slowly trying to do something about it.
Thanks for you reply and if you have anymore ideas let me know.
