Fried scorpion? Cricket salsa? Tarantula tempura? Wax worm larvae popcorn? Some say bugs are high in protein and use far less resources to grow and harvest than beef and poultry.. So what think you? Do you think (for instance) Americans are ready for something like this?

I don't think mainstream America is ready for it, but I'm sure there are a few extremists out there that wouldn't have a problem with it at all.
Would I? I don't THINK so!
However, having served in the Marine Corps for more than 21 years and knowing a little about survival skills, I would venture to say that self-preservation would kick in at some point and I would do whatever necessary to sustain life.

Um, no thank you. I really don't think I could do that. The idea gives me a case of the shivers. I recycle, use green bags. We use environmentally friendly products. But I think I have to draw the line at bug eating.
