Adults who watch cartoons

O.K. so I was reading about this virtual magic kingdom thats online that a majority of adults play. And this particular article was saying 1) It's creepy that adults play this game (I think it's a game) or are in that "world" period. and 2)That adults who enjoy disney or cartoons have an escapist and infantile mentality. My question is this... Is there something wrong with an adult that watches cartoons? How about video gaming?

I think that there is nothing wrong with adults watching cartoons. I think that parents tend to spend so much time around cartoons if they have small children. Any involved parents will spend some time watching the cartoon to better identify with their child and determine what makes it so appealing to them. With all the depressing news and shows these days, I do not blame adults for just wanting to sit down and watching something that is fun and lighthearted. Everyone needs that now and then.
