Should illegals get welfare and food stamps?

Well, I think anyone can recieve welfare, I don't think we should be paying for anyone unless they definatly need it, I mean alot of people on welfare, can go get a job like the rest of us have to.

That is a good question. It depends on why they had to come here in the first place. If they got on it and only stayed on it until they could get on there feet then why not. It is wrong when people abuse it and use it for there on gain and that is done even here in the states. God Bless

No, they should not. They should be deported, because they're breaking the law. Taxes are high enough without supporting half of Mexico.

No way!! I hate that we have to pay for people that don't help themselves. If they would have to pay in then I wouldn't have a problem with it. I just hate my money going to people that don't follow the law and are here illegal!

I don't think that they should. They haven't put any money into our system to pull out of. I think we should deport them back to Mexico since they are technically breaking the law. We shouldn't tolerate them using up our childrens future. It drives me crazy that they also get WIC and Medicaid. I paid into those systems for 16 years while I worked, since I have lost my job, I don't qualify for those things because my husband makes 40.00 over the limit. Trust me, 40.00 does not pay for hospital visits, baby food,medicines, diapers,formula,and shots. But the only way we can change these things are to vote!!!

No. but we should find some sort of reasonable sollution. I would suggest giving everyone here work visas. This would include medical sevices but not foodstamps. Differing situations would call for variations in who gets what (in a Katrina everybody should be looked after). It would take more than Mylot discussions to fix this.
