The last 48 hours have been to say the least interesting. My youngest son who is 19 managed to get plane tickets and get his older brother to drive him to the airport in las vegas. This is the boy who was NEVER,NEVER,going to fly. So he calls last night from the Baltimore airport. Telling me how freaking awesome flying is. L.O.L. So that one is settled and safe at least for the moment. Then his brother calls me. Mom, my car broke down in Las Vegas so I'm not going to be in until tomorrow. So I run down to the local grocery and wire him the money for the car. He just called awhile ago about 100 miles from home so he should be home in time for work. Then on top of all the emontional upheaval my school calls and tells me my financing has been approved. Anybody got a valium? just kidding. Proving once and for all life is crazy, fun, and sometimes very trying.

The late great Erma Bombeck wrote a book entitled, 'Life is What Happens When You're Busy Making Other Plans.' Truer words could not have been spoken! If you are the kind of person who has to plan out every detail of every day, you are usually upset most of the time. But, like you said, life is crazy, fun and sometimes very trying. That is when you learn to pretty much 'go with the flow.' Life is full of interruptions and we either learn how to deal with them as they pop up, or we're in therapy for years and years. You have a great attitude! Your life sounds so much like mine. I have two sons, 24 and 27. I've had my share of "flying is freaking awesome" statements, too. You said he called from the Baltimore airport? BWI? Why would anyone actually WANT to go to Baltimore??? I say this because I grew up in Baltimore. I'm allowed to say bad things about it. LOL Good post! Take care.
