Hi! Well, I think that depends on how the guy projects the shirt. I mean if the shirt or outfit has ruffles and lace aside from being being well..duh.LOL But there are those shirts in the color pink that shows off the good features of a guy. Here in my place, the perception of guys who wear pink is what you have just described. They are commonly picked on or teased by their friends. But I see and observe that times have changed because more and more guys wear pink not because they're not straight but believe it or not to actually show off their masculinity(sort of). I mean I guess they think that only a real guy can pull off wearing that kind of color, not be ashamed of it, and still impress the other people. Guys in my place are not ashamed to wear pink and will specifically look for it if they think that they look good in it. I dont mind whatever color they prefer but I can see that most people accept it too.

That is absolutely a wrong judgement. I know many guys that absolutely love the color and they are very far from being gay. Actually, I just responded to a discussion from a man on here that loves pink and he certainly is not gay. When I was a kid, yellow socks indicated one was gay supposedly. It all seemed pretty dumb to me back then and still does.

I wear pink and I am still a straight guy. How pink are you talking about anyway? Anyway, associating colors to gender isn't uncommon. We usually associate it immediately when it comes to birth of children, sky blue for boys and light pink for girls. There are also other things that we associate with gender like toys, action figures and dolls though they are the same thing altogether; items we use at a daily basis, combs and brushes that we still use to keep our hair neat; and other things that we might think of. We can't reproach you for your own perceptions towards things like color association towards gender or orientation. We could always keep an open mind towards things and try to tolerate them.

I don't agree with you. I worked for a shirt company and we sold alot of pink shirts, they look great with a gray suit. My husband would wear pink and believe me he's far from being gay!!! Didn't you ever hear the saying, Don't judge a book by it's cover?????

That's such a cliché; Men have to wear that, women have to wear this, bla bla bla.. Personally, I also have a light pink coloured shirt, which was used to be my favourite one. It's just a nice colour I think. Ok, when a guy is wearing a pink t-shirt which is so tight you can see the belly coming out, then that's gay I agree. But I guess you could say that all t-shirts look gay in this case, whatever colour they are.

I've seen plenty of men's dress shirts in pink, usually a light pink. Though my co-workers did pick on the guy that used to wear the pink shirt to work, but then again they would pick on him for anything just for fun. I don't see anything wrong with a guy wearing a pink shirt once in awhile.

nope. i know a lot of straight guys who wear pink. its just that pink is a cool and fresh color. can be worn on a hot summer without feeling too hot or sticky.

And, I suppose men who eat quiche are gays too. This is just silly. I see some very masculine, verile men wear pink all the time. No, I certainly do not agree. I think others who might shiver when they see men wear pink may have some real problems of their own.

I don't agree with that. I have seen some very hot pro football players wearing a light pink dress shirt, with a light or dark blue tie. In my opinion, they look very hot. I do love those pink t-shirts that says things like I got this from your girlfriend. So, not to be mean or rude. I don't see myself going up to a pro football player and say I think you look gay in that pink shirt, .

LOL, hardly. I know plenty of guys who love the color pink... they even wear pink shirts (or purple which is another very 'gay' color). Quite frankly they look great in it too. Some of them are so macho you would never think they were gay and if you accused them of being gay they might just punch you in the mouth! I really don't think it has anything to do with whether a guy is gay or not if he happens to like the color pink or purple. In fact, I think it takes a special kind of man to be willing to admit that he actually likes those colors. And of course, at one time girls would never be caught wearing the color blue. Because that was a 'boys' color. Yet these days people think nothing of it. You certainly wouldn't think a girl was gay because she likes the color blue would you?

Well I wouldn't say that all guys who wear pink are gay. There are some out there that wear pink and aren't gay at all, I think its the style these days. There are some that wear it and it looks good on them, especially with a suit or something. But I know my hubby wouldn't be caught wearing pink, he says thats for girlies...lol. He's a camo wearing redneck...lol.

I don't think I colour can determine someone gender, my boyfriend loves hot pink and constantly wears a hot pink belt, has a hot pink shirt and a hot pink laptop, yet as the last time I checked I was a girl, I very much doubt that he is gay.

Not all the time. My boyfriend is wearing pink shirt too and of course he is not gay. Actually I like seeing him wear pink. Maybe it depends on how the guy carry himself in pink shirt.
