Hi,i was wondering how you feel about waiters or waitresses that keep coming to your table every five mins until you decide what you want to order?I get so annoyed when they do not respect you enought to let you look at the menu for more than five mins!so,how do you feel about this?please add your comments.

Hi punkgurl .......Welcome to Mylot!
To answer your question.....I love that waitresses come up to the Table.....why? you might ask ? Because my husband is a chatterbox , and half the time I forget about the Menu , but the waitress reminds me, not to mention that she keeps the coffee-cup full and Hott!
And Secondly ( please don't take this the wrong way ) it Shows that the Waitress really CAres , and wants to make her customers feel important!
I love waitresses!!!!!! I think ( outside of being a Mom )
that waitressing is probably one of the single-hardest jobs , because you're constantly dealing w/ the public , and not all people can be satisfied.
Some waitresses really have it hard! But God-bless 'em. They still keep on workin'
Waitresses Rock! Rogue!

Don't fell ill about that; she could have been a new waitress and wanted to make sure that she was doing her job. You have no idea what they go through. If they don't come in a timely manner then the customer is saying that the waitress is not doing her job. If she comes every 5 minutes then she is annoying. You have no idea what they go through as a waitress. So next time please be a little patient with the waitress even if she is annoying.

Well, it's just that the waiter/waitress doesn't know if it's your first time or if you're a regular. Typically people who ave eaten before at a restaraunt know what they want, so it's just common practice. That and it doesn't take too long to read. Yes, it does get annoying when you don't have enough time, but typically by the time the waiter/waitress is introduced, drinks are out, and you've said "May we have a few more minutes...?" ten you know what you want...*shrugs*...
