I wanna buy something off ebay and I have my user-name and password saved so all I have to do it hit login.
But it keeps telling "Your user ID or password is incorrect"
I've tried using other passwords that it could be but none of them work either. I've tried getting my password emailed to me but I guess i can't remember the info I used when i signed up because i get " Your answers are incorrect. Please try again.
The information you provided did not match our records. Please try again"
Should i just open a new account? could i email ebay or would it just be a waste of time? i don't feel like waiting a week to get a reply from them. I wanna buy it today! lol
and i have 159 feedback and its all good and i don't wanna look like a "new user" because i'm not! :(
has this ever happened to you? what did you do?

I think it is fine that you open a new account while you are waiting to remember the old username and password of your previous account. You are allowed to create many usernames on Ebay as along as your accounts will not interact with each other. I know it will be a waste to let go of your old feedback, so try to email customer service and ask them if they'll be able to send you your actual password or even just username. If they can not do it for you, then maybe you can email them and request for MERGE OF ACCOUNTS. Maybe this will be possible as long as the account information of both accounts are the same. Good luck!

ebay is doing a real crappy job at helping.
i've been getting emails from sellers and emails of items being won but it is NOT MY doing and i have emailed/ talked to ebays live help more then once and i keep being told my account IS suspended until I fax my ID and junk but I asked them if my account is suspended.. How is someone else using it? and they said they couldn't TELL me.
i'm about to get real nasty with them.
i don't even care about getting my account back anymore because of the feedback.. I just care about what info is on my account and what this person is doing on my account.

That's never happend to me before...hopefully your account hasn't been hijacked. I'd see if there's a forgotten password link and/or email Ebay to see if they can help you out.
I have a free internet program on my myLot profile page that gets cash back when you win an Ebay auction or buy a fixed-price item...check it out, you might as well save some money when you win on Ebay!
Good Luck with getting your info!

If you have a Paypal acct, I'd quickly look into it. I've heard of people getting their accounts hacked and the person applies for Paypal credit and quickly maxs it out.
I hope it hasn't gotten that far!

I would email Ebay..Its possible that someone hacked into your account..that happened to me several months ago and Ebay was right on the ball with it which is good....Is it possible though that you changed your password and just forgot?? If NOT then yea I'd email Ebay

With good feedback, I'd try to get the info from them. I didn't take that long when I lost mine once.

Well, I just got done talking to 3 different people and the only way to get my account back is to fax my ID
which sucks because i don't have a fax.. i'm gonna have to see if my dad can do it for me when hes at work... other wise
i'm just gonna have to start over =\

I've forgotten my login or password on occasion but I've never had the problem where I couldn't get at them by using the 'forgot password' link. Why not try contacting e-bay. Maybe they'll surprise you and respond quickly! Good luck!
