have any of you ever gone back to school after an extended break (10 years)? Did you find it harder or easier? It's been about 9 years since I took my last college course and for some reason I decided it would be fun to take a couple of online courses. I forgot how much reading is involved in taking class. I'm actually a little nervous about my first exam! I need some reassurance that I'm not in over my head here!

That is really a long haitus from school. I would say that I have taken a break from school too. Not that long though. After graduating college, I plunged into finishing my Graduate Degree after a year and a half of not being a student. Unfortunately, I was not able to finish it, not because of the different subject that I have to do but because I was not able to finish my thesis (something like the Dissertation for those who are taking their Ph.D and/or Doctorate degree). Now I am enrolled again trying to finish it all the way this time. From that period to last fall, the season I started, it was about another year and a half of rest.
Now that I am writing about it, it seems like I just can't get enough of being a student. LOL. Maybe, I am cut to be a student forever! LOL
I would say that all of us are students forever anyway. In one way or another, we are all learning different things about the life we are living. They say that you have to make your mind active every single minute so that you could stay away from various diseases.
