Where is a good place to sell college textbooks? I just hate that they cost so much money and they the school bookstore offers you an insulting amount of money to buy it back.

Here in Denver, there is Big Dog used textbooks. I would check to see if a company like that existed in your neighborhood.

I'm in college right now so I feel your pain. I just bought a brand new book for a class this past semester that I used only two or three times and then the bookstore wouldn't take it back so I didn't know what to do with it. I decided to list that book along with a few other books on Amazon.com so I could set my own price. I just sold my textbook yesterday for about half of what I paid for it I think but it's definitely a lot better than not getting anything for it at all. As long as your books are in pretty good shape and have minimal text and highlighting in them they may go for a pretty good price.
