I'm in Florida so let me tell you that it's HOT down here and the sun is strong. Make sure you wear sunscreen or you will get burned and don't forget to reapply it according to the directions. We're in the rainy season now, which means that thunderstorms pop up in the afternoon and it might rain where you are for a short time. But, it doesn't last long which is why we have a saying here...If you don't like the weahter, wait five minutes, it'll change.
The theme parks are a lot of fun so I hope you have a great time!

Yes, I live farther south than where you are going to be, not too far from Lake Okeechobee, in the center of the state. I really like Florida, it's a beautiful state and the people are very nice, but I learned soon after moving here that the sun is stronger and you burn easier, which is why I recommend sun screen to anyone who comes here. The theme parks in Orlando are great, you're going to have a wonderful time!

That's fantastic! I'd like to recommend that you definitely do NOT miss going to Universal and Islands of Adventure. It seems that most people go to Disney World and some of them don't have any idea how great Universal is. My family goes almost every year and it's pretty much unanimous, everyone prefers Universal above all the rest. They're all beautiful and tons of fun, all the Disney parks, Universal as I've already said, Sea World and there are some great water parks too. Busch Gardens, which is about an hour or so away in Tampa, is also super. Enjoy, enjoy!!
