As some of you know my soon to be sister in law will be married in less than 2 weeks. As I make alot of my own cloths and have come up with several different ideas over the years my sister in law asked if I would make her a wedding dress. Keep in mind the only thing that she said was the style that she wanted and color that I needed to keep in mind for the coordination of the wedding itself. It has sure been a long several months but I am finally finshed. Someone mentioned they would like to see the finished project when I was done and I have finally completed it.
Keep in mind everyone this is the first ever Wedding Dress I have ever done. I took many ideas from alot of different designers and kepted in mind all the stuff my sister in law wanted in her dress. Ultimately it is her choice of what she wanted.
It is a Strapless dress that is very slimming on her (as she looks great in it).

I wasn't able to enjoy my wedding because i was already pregnant during that time. i'm 6 months pregnant and i was only 20. but it was a memorable day!
Can you make my wedding dress for my next planned wedding?
:)
Thanks!
I know your sister in law is very happy with her gown!

No not a professional by any means. I have always been into fashion since I was a little girl. Never took any courses or anything like that. Everything I have learned over the years were from my mother and my grandmas. Thank you very much for the nice compliments.

WOW the dress is absolutely FABULOUS!
I think you should consider doing this professionally. Couldn't hurt to find out if it was worth it.
I know your sister in law is already married now, I hope the wedding was a lot of fun.

Thank you very much Icy and the wedding was a big hit. I picked up 3 other jobs and a few maybes while at the wedding as well. I told them I didn't know as I promised and drew up contracts with the first 3 already. I don't know about doing it all the time though I might just do it part time for extra cash.

Thank you very much. The wedding is tomorrow and I sure am looking forward to it. My other sister in law has said that she wished she knew me when she got married so she didn't have to hunt for one and she wished I did hers.

Thank you very much. However right now I can't do this for a career. I have a few going right now for others who have seen the dress and are getting married in the near future. I guess it will be more of some pocket change right now.

You are very talented! That is a beautiful dress and your sister in law should be very happy to wear that. It is a great work of art and the blue on it really makes it even nicer. I am sure that she will look beautiful in it and you should take great pride in knowing that you helped make her day special.

If you were closer I totally would do it. But with you living so far away I couldn't bare the thought of the dress not making it to you. I had alot of fun with this piece and it was a great hit this past weekend with everyone at the wedding. I do got 3 contracts on the go for 3 others.

Wow, fabulous! I'm sure she loves it. What a great piece. If your regular pieces are like this you may want to think about selling them.

I don't really sell them. Some friends of mine do ask for me to make a piece once in awhile all the do is pay for the material that is needed and they do give me a little something. Nothing major though. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. I loved doing it to say the least. It was alot of fun and sometimes very trying as well as this was the first ever wedding dress that I have created. I have got my sister in law to try it on already. I made sure of that one as I wanted to make all the alterations and that before her big day. I don't want something happening that I couldn't take care of and leave her in a bind.
