Follow the cop or stay put

Your in the similar situation in the new york public library(or any other major library). The cop announces for everyone to leave and a kid who has a big wig father who announces you would be nuts to go out and why
Would you follow the cop into the cold or stay put?
Me? I would have stayed put. Why, i think the kid knows more than that cop. The cop didn't look for other options or opinions which included that of a kid with a big wig father.

but not everyone heard the boy talk. and in a crowd you could hear his voice but not know all the information he had behind him. watching the movie it's easy to know the right thing. in real life it's not that clear always. in the movie i probably would have gone with the cop.
