Are two terms enough or just too short for a President to serve.

here in the philippines, the president is only allowed to be elected for one term only & i agree with it. since we have a democratic government, it'll help to have a new leader every 6 years. i believe 6 years is already enough to finish all the projects & plans that you have for your country.

Hello, kame! in my opinion there should be no bar for a cabdidate to become president of a country for the third or fourth term.as it is an elected post let the people decide whether to elect him or not.one term in office would be enough to prove the worth of a president.so let the people decide his fate.thanx.

Definitely if he is a good president.Or else there should be a provision to show him the door anytime during his first term itself.

I think two terms are plenty. A single president will not make the entire nation happy. It is impossible. Therefore, even those who don't like a president will know they only have to wait at max 8 years, even if the president is very popular. Besides, 3 terms could turn into 4 and before you know it he could make a move towards a dictatorship.

I think it is enough! That law was put into place for a reason.

If we had a very excellent president who had already served two terms he could run as an independent and possibly win but we've never had one that good in my opinion. From the pictures I've seen of how much our presidents age while in office I don't think any of them could take more than 8 years in office.
