I actually have a phone at home. Despite having a cellular phone, I still maintain a phone at home. In our country, landline phone are much cheaper to maintain as compared to cellular phone since you are charge on a monthy bill at fixed rate. Though my phone is landline based, it has no wires and works like a cellular phone. Its works with an antenna so I can actually bring it anywhere in our house. Anothe good feature about the phone is I can also bring it outside our house and as long as I don't go out in our city, I can still have a signal and used it like a cellular phone but with a landline billing. Really a good thing to use.

The phones I use in my house are cordless, like yours. My hubby and I have cell phones that are pay as you go types. We do not use them much, except to talk to each other. That way we limit the expense.

I have two phones in the house. I also have a cell phone and my husband does too. The phone at home is hooked up to a fax machine and if I don't answer it in 3 rings the fax picks up. Its a pain but my husband needs the fax for work.

Not counting cell phones, we have six phones here. One in my mother's bedroom, one in my bedroom, one in the kitchen, a cordless in the livingroom, one on the porch and one in the basement behind the washer. My father's mother was an ATT pioneer (an operator at the beginning of their company's existence) and he put phones everywhere!! LOL

Hello, youless, i have another phone at home beside my Nokia, it's lenovo. It first belonged to my littler brother, he's at high school, and the school forbids them to use it, at that very time, my phone's broken, so i used his.
Now that it's old, i can't return him this, so i'd try buy him a new one

We have 6 phones at my home. One in the kitchen, one in the master bedroom, one in the home office and one in the garage. Then my husband and I each have our cell phones--so that's a total of 6. That kind of seems excessive, but it keeps us from having to run from one end of the home to the other to answer the phone.

Other than the cellphones, we have three more landline phones in our house. One is in the living room, the other is in my husband’s sister’s bedroom, and of course the third one is in my bedroom. It is quite convenient for us, as we can receive or make any phone call directly in our respective rooms.

I have four phones at home. Three mobile and one fixed line. I have just had a fixed line for internet purposes. Having more than one phone is of course convenient but will give you headache at the end of the month when it comes to paying off the bills.

Hi youless! We have two land phones in our home. The main line is in the living room and the extension line is in the bedroom. I agree that it is more convenient to have it that way so that I won't have to run when the phone rings. haha..
Take Care and God Bless!

It is convenient to have at least 2 phones in the house. You will not have to rush to answer the phone and will seldom miss calls
