I hardly ever study for tests and I always seem to do pretty well. I have a short term memory so I find that the best way for me to study is just to look over my notes for about 30 minutes before taking the test. That way everything is fresh in my head and easy to recall. Now if I go into class and the teacher talks for half an hour before giving the test, then I'm screwed because I will have forgotten everything by then. Thankfully that has not happened too often.

I used to study only when there are exams. I really have a bad studying habit. When there is a major exam, I will just scan through the pages then sleep and wake up in the early morning like 2am and that's the time when I will be studying seriously. And luckily it did worked for me.

i was (and still am) a bad student. i never liked studying. i gave trust to cramming and listening. but it somehow get me theru a couple of courses. i guess i was just lucky.
if i look back through my undergrad courses (as i am taking MBA now), i wish i could have studied more.
i was a working student. and it was tough. i started college at an early age of 14 and lived far from home. i had to survive first before i can study. i made use of my free time to work for survival...
but, studying is cool. give it all your best.
