I've been reading articles that states it is not necessary to use toner.
I don't use toner but consider using it. I heard that toner is just to help prepare your skin to absorb the moisturizer or any other facial/beauty products that you are going to put on later after cleansing your skin. How true is this?
So Do you use toner and why?

I myself is very religious with my skincare. I find the 3 necessities are facial wash, toner and moisturizer. Toner is important as it helps to clean even more the residuals on your face after wash. Besides it balance your skin ph level and as you said get ready skin for moisturizer and etc. As for me,I might not need super expensive toner, just get one that do the same function is good enough. Just my input. :)

I don't use toner. I have heard the same thing...that its really not necessary. I don't see spending money on something I don't need. I think some of the beauty products are just rip offs anyway. I am older too and although my skin gets oily later, it is a little dry when I first clean it. I think the toner would just make it drier. I did use toner occasionally when I was younger but I didn't think it helped.

I use toner all the time, if i am not lazy, i use it twice a day. it softens the skin and help absoption of the cream. one more reason, i have several bottles of toner, i want to finish them soon. so i sometimes use it to wash face with tissue, no need to wash with water.
