Napoleon Hill begins his book "Grow Rich! With Peace Of Mind" talking about peace of mind as the wealth without which you cannot be really wealthy.
This is a very interesting comment to me as I am presently studying wealth and what makes a person wealthy.
As some of you may know I am English, but I live in The Philippines and every day I watch thousands of people going to work to do, for some, jobs that they hate, with bosses they don't like and to make matter worse, they get paid low salaries. And this picture is multiplied worldwide.
It seems to me that we focus so much of our lives on making money, but few seldom ever reach being rich. The struggle for money seems to be an never ending race.
It also seems strange to me that with so many people worldwide studying economics, accounting and other financial subjects, that we still, don't know how to make or control our money in a way that can really benefit us.
Strange further, is with so many motivational books, mentors and teachers guiding people to new ways of thought about wealth and self-improvement that we still seem to struggle so much.
Over the next few days I will be sharing some of my thoughts and I hope that some of you can share your thoughts too with me about these subjects so we can all get a better insight into what holds us back.
So my question today is this:
Why do you think that so few people in life attain wealth?
I look forward to your comments.
Be Abundant!

While anybody could attain wealth, I think the reason why so few people attained it is because of lack of proper mind setting. Also, the consistency of goal and clarity of purpose are among the important things that should be considered in attaining true wealth. Some people have the talent, the knowledge, but still has this fear and/or procrastinates to take action. Books, mentors, and teachers are just motivators, it is the individual himself who should make a firm decision that he wants to attain wealth. So badly that he's ready to take action and responsibility, and would not be hindered by any failures along the way. That's what I think.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Tim. Can't wait to hear them.

Hey Hello there!
Mindset is where it begins...
But where do you get the mindset? There are loads of people in The Philippines with talent (as there are worldwide) but still completely broke because they don't know what to do.
How do they get started. Where does the education begin?
Right now conventional institutes such as school and university do not produce the right people. They are well educated when they come out, but still don't have a clue?
So where does it all start?
