Does monalisa really captivate you?

The portrait of monalisa, does it really captivate you? Does the woman in the picture really have a mesmerizing smile? Is it really that beuatiful? For me? NO. I really dont find that portrait so adorable. I just find it as a picture of an ordinary woman, and yeah with an ordinary smile, seriously nothing special. Maybe i dont have an artist's eye.So what do you think about monalisa?

well, you're right. i don't think she is an attractive woman with a deadly smile. in da vinci code, a prisoner even thought that she is leonardo da vinci using a woman's wear

Yeah i have heard that one too...and i guess even that could be a case. Davinci has so many codes and mysteries which are seldom solved with no trail of reality too...

personally, I think that's the thing about the Mona Lisa.. she's just an ordinary person.. and that's what gives it a sense of artistic beauty..
