Yesterday, Associated Content held a prize for $5,000 for one article of 500 words or so... I entered and my entry can be found here if anyone would like to read it: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/802185/publishing_and_the_internet_how_the.html?cat=15 I'd love to ready anyone else's articles if someone on Associated Content here on Mylot entered the contest - leave me your article link in the comments and we'll all discuss out entries! Did you enter? If you didn't enter, why not? Good luck to all who did enter! Love and stuff, Michy

I had a topic I was going to write, but I never claimed the call and never wrote it because I was too busy working on a script request.

i Thought about doing that but most of them are all scams and a wast of time

Oh no! I didn't hear anything about that or I would have entered it! I wasn't very active on the site back when you posted this (this one or Associated Content). I'm all over the Calls for Content now though!

I didn't enter because that was finals week and I had absolutely no time to write for something I probably wouldn't win anyway. Even if I thought I had a chance though, I absolutely could not have done it because I was studying almost constantly for 3 weeks.

Hi Michy, It's Tina from your other forum. I didn't enter the contest. I had a few ideas, but I in the end decided against it. I felt that the topics they were looking for were a bit out of my area of knowledge. I'm just going to stick with regular C4Cs for now. If they have another ultimate C4C in the future I might give it a try.

While $5000 is a great prize, it seemed like an awkward article for me. I didn't want to spend a lot of time formulating my best for something that wouldn't have much of an earning potential and the chances of it winning $5000 would be slim. I actually read about it a long time ago and decided that I would skip over the opportunity. I just have a lot more on my plate that is a sure bet...
