Life choice

If you were given the option to live 1 day as a King or 1 year as a slave, what would you choose and why ?

I would definitely pick living as a slave for a year. The year maybe hard to live but one would come away a much better person, allowing you to truly enjoy life and appreciate what you have. It would also be much easier to go back to your old normal life if you were a slave because as a king you would start to enjoy the good life and then your old normal life would be such a disappointment. I would much rather live a hard year and come to enjoy everything more than to life the king life for a year and have to go back to an old icky life after (maybe not icky but normal life as being a king would not be as nice as it was before being king)

Well, this IS a though question, i have thought about it and i agree with both your and may's points of view, but i think the slave thing is better because i have learned in life that what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, and being a slave would make me appreciate all that I have - the clean water, the food that sometimes i dislike, the good nice bed that always welcomes me clean and much more of the ordinary things that we don't really appreciate as much as we should.

A very hard question. (LOL) Gotta pick the King. I just really want to experience the feeling of being a ruler. I have been ruled upon my entire life, it is nice to be wealthy, powerful, and famous... But just for one day! A one day experience is good enough for me... Because in that one day, I will be able to realize that a king and a slave has no difference. We still breath to go on living, we still go to sleep to be recharge, and we still strive to become happy and attain that inner peace.

Hello elitess. I don't think that I will choose either of them because I don't want to live one day to be a king, nor do I want to choose to live one year to be a slave. I love my life and freedom. I cannot lose either of them. I look forward to longevity with a good health.
