why dont they bring back coke in a glass bottle

I think because the handling of glass coke bottles are harder. Glass = fragile. and especially due to the growing demend of orders for coke, bulk handling of glass bottle could be harder. Thats what think though, I might be wrong. =P None of my local store nearby here sells coke in glass bottle anymore. *sigh*...

We can still find coke in bottles around here. Its not like the old coke bottles. they are much smaller, but still tastes just as good. I prefer coke in the glass bottles, they stay colder longer.

what old style? old style of the bottle or simply the glass bottle? coz we still have that here.... hmm.. hehe...

Its not easy to handle th glass bottel. Also to glass bottel its not ezy to give the shape that they are giving to PAT Bottels. But I also wish for your to bought back the old style to reduce plastic scrap. As we have to also look for NATURE.

you can still get the glass bottles, just not year round for the most part. I know supermarkets by me sell Coke in glass bottles come christmas time and randomly throughout the year. But Im sure it had something to do with the fact that plastic is jsut cheaper to produce

we still have coke glass bottle here in the philippines.. and the 8 oz size is the best.. it doesn't fail in making me burp(but not that loud!) especially when drank super cold.. brain freeze.. ehehehe.. i love coke!! im trying to cut back though...

yes it did taste good in glass bottles but i hate that they are washed and someone else drank out of them and well lord knows what ! They sold them here a few years ago in the very small bottles they were expensive .The plastic ones keep getting thinner and thinner pretty soon it will be a bag not a bottle I think! lol
