How Do You Prefer Eating Food - Alone Or With Someone For Company?

It depends whether it is a "I am hungry and I need food to survive" type of meal or a "social occasion" type of meal. If it is the first then I prefer to eat alone, but if it is the second then I prefer to have company. If I am really hungry then I want to just eat my food and not talk to someone, but if I am hungry enough to eat, but not starving then I like company to talk to.

I almost never eating alone.I think I will even don't do that if it'w only myself.So I always eating food with my classmates and it's very convinent for us.

hey nikhil-sun I think eating with some other is different things. Some body may feel some hesitation but I enjoy to eat with others . I prefer to go to picnic with group of people. In my family we eat together during lunch and dinner. pkc3000

I usually prefer eating alone... I actually do that pretty frequently weather I'm in public or not... There were even times when I asked my girl-friend to take my daughter out to get something to eat by themselves so I can eat alone... I don't get enough time to do this, though... There are times I couldn't wait to have a dinner with my girl-friend & my daughter... I don't know, my mood changes every so often...

I prefer eating food with someone to accompany me.But I also make it a point not to talk much while eating.Actually I feel that with somebody close accompanying you, be it your friends or family members, I tend to enjoy my food better.

My preference is to eat with someone for the company however I live alone and do not have a lot of friends therefore I am forced to consume most of my meals in solidarity, at least for now.

It doesn't matter to me. I can eat alone, in a group, family, how ever. As long as i get to eat when it's time to eat.

it depends on the situation. but i mostly prefer to eat with friends. when i eat alone, that's time i needed someone to feel that i need somebody to be beside me.

I much prefer eating with others than eating on my own...eating is a sociable thing I think and its lovely to sit and have a chat while you eat,it makes a pleasant thing of the meal...but often its simply not possible,as theres no one in the house but me!!so then I just take my meal an sit in front of the television...how lazy!!

I prefer eating with somebody because it is a time to get together and just eat/socialize. Anyways, I don't like eating alone, like company :P
