The terms just said "a valid Paypal account". I have a Paypal account and Ive been receiving payments from my other sites but one discussion made me think if my Paypal needs to be verified so I can get my earnings. I wouldnt want my hard earned myLot balance to go down the drain because of being unverified.
Hope you can help me. Thanks!

The answer to this question is yes.
You can receive your earned money into your paypal account even if it is not verified. But for unverified account there is a certain limit but don't worry that's more than enough and probably I think this limitation wouldn't give you much problem.
But you cannot transfer money from your paypal account to an account in a bank..this kind of transaction requires your account to get verified first.
Although you can buy something at ebay with an unverified paypal account.I haven't personally tried it but heard it from my friends!!!

no you can not buy at ebay with out now having a bank acount or debit card or credit card attached to your account, i tried the other day and this is what they told me, i said not putting my bank info online and they said only other thing they can do is return what i had made to mylot, but with out me adding my band account info to the site I can not use it anywhere.

Hi! Yeah I know that I might not get my paypal funds to my bank but I havent connected a bank account yet. Ive read somewhere that I can verify just using a bank account and not any credit/debit cards. Is that really possible?
About the eBay purchase, I have explored some pages on eBay and Ive seen that there are some sellers who accept paypal payments from unverified accounts. Well, if your planning on shopping, goodluck! Thanks for responding.^_^

hello bjcyrix,
well i think that you started this discussion because of the confusing words that i wrote in my discussion. well now that after so many discussions we are clear that we can get the earnings even on a un verified account.
well actually i was a bit concerned about the fact that .... i would not be able to bring the money that i will receive on my paypal account to my bank account and that made me create that confusion.
thanks for all the help. and have a good day.

well i have more problems, i always fear whether i will link my only account to paypal or not...... i too do not have a separate account so that i can link that up and also i feel that .... well those are only fears.
i am thinking of creating a new and different account so that i can link that up.
have a good day.

that was actually part of my plan when I started to be active in earning online. I have fears too and its always better safe than to be sorry. I fear too that my account will be hacked into or something like that. I dont have any bank accounts but my plan is to create to separate accounts on different banks. One is for all my internet things and the other is for my own personal use.

Hi there!
Firstly congratulations on your payment.
Now coming to your query. Yes you can still receive your payment on paypal account from mylot. Your earnings will get deposited there just like other forums. But for cashout or transfer you need to verify your account.
I have not verified my account yet but did take out 100$ just by linking my bank account number. It's cool, isn't it?

Actually, I haven't given any bank account no or credit card number. Just when I cashed out I inserted the detail and they transfered it.
Good luck!

NO you can not use the money in your paypal account unless you give them your banking information, I refuse to give them that I am not using the money in my checking account but money that I have earned on these site like this one, why would they need your banking information if you using the money from here, I do not believe it is safe and there is a site called aboutpaypal.org you need to look over before you add your checking account to the site

hmm.. Ive always had second thoughts about paypal since there are lots of horror stories about it. Ive thought of using moneybookers too but there is a site about the warnings and not so good experiences with it too. So Im kinda in the fence about using any payment processors at all. I wouldnt get my earned money if I dont use a payment processor but I did plan to link my bank account to them. That is a separate bank account because I dont want to use my personal one with my online things. hmm, maybe I should have used moneybookers instead so I can at least do some online shopping. Ill check your site out and thanks for the response.

Hi. thank you for commenting on other people's responses on this discussion. Your experience might have made or broken my decision to use paypal but I guess I really have no choice since I already got funds there and other paid sites still use paypal. What payment processor will you use from now on?
Maybe Ill try what you did just to check the system and to give paypal another headache.LOL thanks again.

Hey there! You will not lose your earnings dear, dont you worry. You have to verify your account before you can transfer the money to a debit card. I think you have to get a BPI debit card to transfer your money from paypal. I think it cost 120 pesos to open an account. Call the bank! LOL! I know you're excited to go shopping. ;0)

Hey, I just found out that you can use an ATM bank account to transfer the money. I think BPI is better than BDO. :0)

they just told me today you can not use the money or get the money unless you have a verified account with them, not at any site. I tried to download the plug-in they got and was told by them that i can not do that unless i give them my banking account so I said well I will just use it online at one of the merchants and she said NO you can not use the money unless you verify the account so I have lost may $38.00.

My paypal account is not verified, and I have been paid by mylot twice already, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I know some of the paid websites require you to have your paypal account verified in order to get paid through paypal instead of a check, but mylot doesn't do that, fortunately.

don't worry. your hard earned money will not be drained. it will be put on hold till you provide valid paypal id. btw, "valid paypal id" is different from "verified paypal id". the verification process in paypal is only between user and his bank account. for merchants, they only want our paypal id to be active.

So I've been reading over the responses to this discussion and there are some contradictory advice.
Some say that you can receive earnings into your unverified Paypal account, you just won't be able to withdraw the money. However, you'll be able to spend the money on ebay. If this is true, then I have no intention of ever verifying my account because I am very leary of attaching banking information to my account.
However, others say you can't even spend the money on ebay or other Paypal merchants.
Could anybody shed more light on this? This is a very confusing subject matter, isn't it?!

Whew! I totally agree with you on this one. All input is welcome but I guess I wont be able to tell really which is applicable to me or not. I do know the answer to my discussion question and its a yes. I can receive my earnings even if Im unverified. The proof is in my Paypal account. I havent really thought of how I can withdraw from paypal to my bank account. Ive read somewhere on the internet that I can be verified with just linking my bank account. I really dont like cards especially credit cards because I dont trust anythign online not to overcharge me or something like that. AT least with a separate bank account I can pool it there and transfer it to my real personal bank account. I really do hope that someone can explain this topic further. Thanks for responding.

YOu can get money put into your unverified paypal but paypal requires you to be verified to spend that money. They will hold your money in your paypal account for you until you can verify.

yeah I have heard about that and I will verify it in time but not right now and my payout is only 10 days away. I just wanted to make sure that at leas the first change of hands (mylot to paypal) will be successful so I can withdraw when I need it. Thanks for responding. This is really helpful.^_^
