One of the reviewer of THE ANDROMEDA book has commented that the book moves at white-hot speed. Now what does it mean?

hot , the red hot and the white hot are three grades of heat so to say. i mean if the coal is burnt it gets hot first and after sometime it turns red hot, now it starts emitting heat and light both . after some time it will turn white with heat.it is its last stage. so the reviewer means the book runs at highest speed!!!!!!!
