What month is your child's bday in and what type of party did you throw? My oldest's bday is in the summertime so we always throw a water party for her w/ a bbq, then another is in March so sometimes its nice enough to go to a park or have it indoors, and my newest is right around Thanksgiving so now I'm not sure what to do! Can't wait to hear! Thanks.

For the moment i only have 1 child - #2 is due in a month or so but my daughter is 2 today & we're throwing her a party tomorrow.
We've just gone with a big family BBQ, my parents etc will be here for lunch & my partner's parents etc will be here for dinner. We have salads & stuff like that. Nothing too major but i'm sure the parties will be more extravigant the older she gets & especially once she's at school& has school friends to invite around to her parties!
Today though is June 6th & here in Australia, we're in the beginning of winter so it's cold & harder to get out to do anything major anyway - that's why family do's & BBQ's are the easiest options.
We were actually going to take our little one to the zoo today for the day but since the weather was pretty terrible it wasn't worth going (another downside) but we'll go in the Spring when the weather is finer!

My son was born in April. I always have his indoors because in April it's hard to plan an outdoor party because of the weather. I've been letting him pick his own theme since he was 2. Then, I go all out with that certain theme. The funniest party was when I rented a birthday party room @ a local Preschool/Day Care. They had inflatables, ball pits, slides, jungle gyms, swings, bouncy toys, anything you could imagine all in that one room.

my one daughters bday is in march and we have done a princess party for her (i even found a crown paper punch) and did lots of glitter etc
we have done a hawaiin luau, a nail polish party and a bubbles party and now that my oldest is a teenager and her bday is in may, we usually defer her 'friends party' til july or august and take her and some friends to the beach (we provide the hotdogs etc) she loves it!
